Activities
To date a number of linked activities have been undertaken to fulfil the needs of the BESSA project. Specifically these are:
1. A review of potential field sites in Kenya and Tanzania in which work has been initiated under related work such as PRESA.
(1) on the ecosystem approach, ecosystem goods and services and rewards for environmental services
(2) practical workshop on methods and application of measurements in ecosystem approach
3. Stakeholder discussion and dialogue on selected site issues relating poverty and ecosystem services 
4. Ongoing development and implementation of short term research projects and Masters projects.
